Jill Caugherty is the author of The View from Half Dome, winner of the 2023 NC Indie Author Project, YA Fiction and winner of the 2023 IPPY Bronze Award for Best Regional Fiction, Pacific West. Her debut novel,Waltz in Swing Time, was published in 2020. Jill’s work has been published in 805Lit, Oyster River Pages, The Potato Soup Journal, and elsewhere. Her short story, Real People, was nominated for the 2018 Pen Award for Emerging Writers.
A Stanford University graduate, Jill is a former senior product manager and marketing manager in tech and has an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers’ Association and the North Carolina Writers’ Network. Jill lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and daughter.
